Job summary

Armison Tech in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Systems Engineer to build and maintain a hybrid-cloud, mission-critical infrastructure and services. You will monitor network performance, guide engineering efforts, and translate customer requirements into actionable user stories and deliverables.

Ideal candidates will have active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, experience with AWS/Azure hybrid environments, VDIs, containerized servers, DevOps pipelines, and RMF/A&A processes for secure deployments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.
• Experience leading agile teams through sprint planning and governance.

• Experience designing and managing hybrid cloud environments using AWS and Azure.

• Experience configuring LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and routing across secure networks.
• Experience building ETL pipelines for data ingestion.
• Experience automating workflows with Python, PowerShell, Bash and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with A&A and RMF processes for secure deployments.

Systems Engineer

Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)

Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

You will be responsible for building and maintaining a hybrid-cloud mission-critical infrastructure and services, using COTS, GOTS, and custom applications. You will be relied upon to constantly monitor network performance, and proactively suggest improvements and guide networking and system engineering efforts to continuously modernize and improve.

The appropriate candidate should have experience with the following:

• Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing existing systems and identifying corrective actions and areas for improvement.
• Experience leading agile teams through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and the coordination of governance.
• Experience translating customer requirements into actionable user stories and technical deliverables.
• Demonstrated experience designing and managing hybrid cloud environments using AWS, Azure, and virtualization platforms.
• Experience deploying and maintaining VDIs, hypervisors, and containerized servers for facilitating secure operations.
• Experience implementing DevOps pipelines and monitoring infrastructure performance across cloud systems.
• Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and routing protocols across secure networks.
• Experience building and managing ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data ingestion.
• Experience automating workflows using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with A&A and RMF processes for secure system deployment and compliance.
