Job summary

Armison Tech is seeking an Operational System Engineer to support on-site client environments in Chantilly, VA. Must hold active TS/SCI with polygraph and have 3+ years in software design and development, with Linux and scripting.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus automation using Ansible, is required. Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS; compensation is competitive and benefits are excellent.

Operational System Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

The appropriate candidate should have experience with the following:

• Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
• Familiarity with Model/View/Controller (MVC) architecture.
• 3+ years of experience in software design and development, including a strong familiarity with Linux, including scripting.
• Experience integrating and deploying web applications and understanding of web scripting languages (i.e. Javascript, PHP, Perl CGI).
• Proficiency with defensive cyber counter‑intelligence.
• Requires a Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and a familiarity with automation applications like Ansible (including writing, testing, and documenting systems automation).
• Knowledge of industry standards regarding design, construction and configuration of global telecommunications and data networks.
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as needed to support operations.
• Experience conducting network penetration testing, information security red teaming, network incident response, and network/malware forensics.
