Job summary

Armison Tech in Chantilly, VA is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design and deliver secure cloud-based solutions for government clients. You will participate in all life-cycle stages from scope and estimation through design documentation, testing, and integration.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and strong hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Linux, plus excellent collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience designing and developing cloud-based applications using current architecture practices.
• Experience in software engineering, applications development, or web app development.
• Experience with object-oriented languages (Java, Go, C#).
• Experience building front-end UIs with React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong Linux environment experience.
• Experience in public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized apps (Kubernetes).
• Experience with orchestration tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
• Networking/VPN experience (OpenVPN, WireGuard, IPSec).
• Experience managing identities, permissions, and storage per best practices.

Cloud Solutions Architect

Location: Chantilly, VA(on-site client environment)

Armison Tech is searching for a candidate that has specialized skills in cloud engineering and full stack development. You will participate in the software development efforts through all phases of the life cycle including scope work and estimation, design documentation, as well as testing and integration. The team will be developing new applications to better meet overall mission design, as well as solve complex problems by executing broad design solutions. This role involves managing virtual and physical servers on a virtualization platform (VMware) with Windows Server 2008 - 2016, Ubuntu, and CentOS.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

• Must maintain an active/current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Demonstrated experience independently designing and developing cloud based applications using current best practices and architectural guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience working in software engineering, applications development, and/or web application development.
• Experience with object oriented development in modern languages (Java, Go, C#).
• Experience developing front ends utilizing modern frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.
• Overall experience previously developing in a Linux environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing in commercial cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as in containerized applications like Kubernetes.
• Experience working with orchestration tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
• Experience with networking and Virtual Private Network (VPN) protocols like OpenVPN, Wireguard, and IPSec.
• Experience managing end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices.
