Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science, or 5+ years IT experience.
• Experience with Office 365 and/or Google Workspace.
• Strong Windows 11 troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and performance-monitoring tools.
• Strong proactive customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a JIRA-based helpdesk to resolve break/fix and access request tickets.
• Integrate SaaS systems to streamline workflows (e.g. enabling SSO and SCIM).
• Maintain the entire network stack, including Aruba switches, FortiGate firewalls, and UniFi access points.
• Deploy and maintain a fleet of Dell and Apple devices using Intune and Mosyle MDMs.
• Handle IT asset purchasing and inventory (hardware and software).
• Assist with managing CCTV and access control systems.
• Perform proactive internal audits and assist with external audits.
• Document technology workflows and configurations.
• Other duties as assigned.

GRUBBRR is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team in our Boca Raton, FL office. The Systems Engineer will act as the security guard for our company. This role performs upgrades, maintenance, and any installations needed for our employees. The Systems Engineer will educate our employees and act as the first point of contact for support within the business for technical needs. This position is required to be on-site in Boca Raton, FL 5 days a week.

The ideal candidate will have strong time-management skills and excellent communication skills, which enable him/her to work with various employees and leaders within the company. The Systems Engineer will own any/all technical problems and feel passionate about technology and helping others.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a JIRA-based helpdesk to resolve break/fix and access request tickets
• Integrate SaaS systems to streamline workflows (e.g. enabling SSO and SCIM)
• Maintain the entire network stack, which includes Aruba switches, FortGate firewalls, and UniFi access points
• Deploy and maintain a fleet of Dell and Apple devices using Intune and Mosyle MDMs
• Handle IT asset purchasing and inventory (both hardware and software)
• Assist with managing the facility-adjacent technology systems, such as the CCTV and access control systems
• Perform proactive internal audits and assist with external audits
• Document technology workflows and configurations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science or, alternatively, 5+ years of IT experience in lieu of degree
• Significant management experience with Office 365 and/or Google Workspace
• Extensive troubleshooting experience with Windows 11
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, equipment, technology and other performance-monitoring tools
• Strong understanding of proactive customer service
