Job summary

Amazon's Frontier ADC team in Arlington, VA is seeking a Systems Development Engineer II to help build and operate AWS Frontier AI services in GovCloud and isolated regions. You will contribute to a massively scalable, distributed infrastructure and work closely with government customers to address unique requirements.

Ideal candidates have strong Linux/Networking skills, extensive software systems experience, and proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or CSSLP (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
