Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer III for Frontier ADC, focusing on GovCloud and isolated environments. This role drives technical direction, mentors junior engineers, and works with government customers to deliver long-term, secure cloud solutions.

You will own architectural decisions, contribute to engineering excellence, and help expand Frontier AI services leveraging AWS platforms in secure regions. A TS/SCI clearance is required with polygraph readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) or equivalent
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
