Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Arlington, VA seeks a Systems Development Engineer II to build innovative solutions expanding Frontier AI services into GovCloud and isolated regions, while improving operations for resilience and customer experience.

You will collaborate with government customers on AWS GenAI services, tackle complex problems, design scalable systems, and contribute to automation and security campaigns in a demanding cloud environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional).
Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, C++, C#, Ruby.
Experience with Linux/Unix.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally to foster a constructive dialogue and resolve contentious issues.
Code and build tools in Python, Java, or C++ to solve complex system problems.
Build and deploy scalable solutions across GovCloud and isolated regions.
Lead automation and operational improvements for Frontier AI services and customer experience.
Collaborate with government customers to address needs across Frontier AI services.
