Job summary

Nashua School District is seeking a Systems Developer/Database Integrator at the Nashua High South Technology Office. The role reports to the Director of Technology and is a full-time, 12-month position.

You will support District applications, including X2 Aspen, Follett Destiny, Kentico, and Microsoft Office, while enhancing database infrastructure and interoperability. The ideal candidate will hold a computer science degree, possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and be able to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with SQL databases, data normalization, and SQL Server troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Java, Microsoft Office, X2 Aspen and Crystal Reports is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to users and resolve system issues via helpdesk, in person or remote.
• Develop existing or new functionality using vendor standards (e.g., Java and Aspen conventions).
• Provide support and training for Applications including X2 Aspen and Follett Destiny Library System, Kentico, and Microsoft Office.
• Maintain, design, analyze and implement current and future database infrastructure across the district.
• Act as a technical advisor to administration and external developers while documenting systems components and user instructions.
