Job summary

City Of Nashua seeks a Systems Developer/Database Integrator to support the Nashua District with application and database development from the Nashua High South Technology Office. The role reports to the Director of Technology and will focus on maintaining and enhancing the district's information systems.

The position emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and strong communication to support school staff and ensure reliable access to data and applications such as X2 Aspen, Follett Destiny,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of SQL, Data Normalization, some knowledge of Java; familiarity with Aspen and Crystal Reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to users in person, by phone, or remotely via helpdesk.
• Develop and enhance existing or new functionality using vendor standards (e.g., Java and Aspen conventions).
• Work with a team to support and train users on applications like X2 Aspen SIS, Follett Destiny, Kentico, and Microsoft Office.
• Maintain, design, analyze and implement current and future database infrastructure.
• Act as a technical advisor and document systems components and user instructions.
