Job summary

Intervala, LLC in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking a Systems/Design Engineer to lead digital, embedded and analog circuit design, develop embedded software, design test fixtures, and drive complex projects from concept through customer discussions and design reviews.

You will work in an ISO 9002 environment with cross-functional teams, coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing, and perform root cause analysis on failures while adhering to company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree preferred; 2 years of relevant work experience may be substituted.
• Experience with electronic circuit design and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams; work with embedded software.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Intervala is looking to add a Systems/Design Engineer to the team!

Job Summary & Essential Functions

The position involves electronic design, embedded digital, and analog design. Supplementary tasks include electro-mechanical systems, and a broad understanding of failure analysis while working in an ISO 9002 environment.

• Develop digital, embedded and analog circuit design
• Design embedded software
• Design and develop test fixtures
• Coordinate and be responsible for the execution of a large project (broad in scope), or a number of smaller projects with complex features
• Develop conceptual/preliminary designs for new projects and products
• Participate in initial technical discussions with current and prospective customers as well as subsequent design review meetings
• Administer electrical and mechanical design input to the engineering department
• Develop bid proposals
• Guide the CAD/CAE effort within engineering department
• Develop test requirements and/or test procedures working with engineerings and technicians
• Define parts and components used in designs and systems
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, quality and outside suppliers to set and meet schedules to accommodate customer requirements
• Lead multi-disciplinary failure analysis
• Provide support to manufacturing functions to ensure correct procedures and instructions utilized in building product
• Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members

Required Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in related technical field

• Previous experience with electronic circuit design

• Previous experience with multiple simulation and design packages
