Intervala, LLC is seeking a Systems/Design Engineer to join our Mount Pleasant, PA team. The role focuses on electronic design, including embedded digital and analog circuits, with responsibilities spanning test fixtures, CAD/CAE leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with customers and suppliers.

The position involves coordinating complex projects, developing preliminary designs, and ensuring documentation and testing procedures meet ISO 9002 standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field with 2 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree preferred with 0–2 years experience.
• Strong background in analog and digital circuitry, and embedded design.
• Experience with electronic circuit design and electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Intervala is looking to add a Systems/Design Engineer to the team!

Job Summary & Essential Functions

The position involves electronic design, embedded digital, and analog design. Supplementary tasks include electro-mechanical systems, and a broad understanding of failure analysis while working in an ISO 9002 environment.

• Develop digital, embedded and analog circuit design
• Design embedded software
• Design and develop test fixtures
• Coordinate and be responsible for the execution of a large project (broad in scope), or a number of smaller projects with complex features
• Develop conceptual/preliminary designs for new projects and products
• Participate in initial technical discussions with current and prospective customers as well as subsequent design review meetings
• Administer electrical and mechanical design input to the engineering department
• Develop bid proposals
• Guide the CAD/CAE effort within engineering department
• Develop test requirements and/or test procedures working with engineerings and technicians
• Define parts and components used in designs and systems
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, quality and outside suppliers to set and meet schedules to accommodate customer requirements
• Lead multi-disciplinary failure analysis
• Provide support to manufacturing functions to ensure correct procedures and instructions utilized in building product
• Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members

Required Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in related technical field

• Previous experience with multiple simulation and design packages
