Job summary

DAn Solutions in Reston, VA is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and sustain complex data flows across multiple systems. The role emphasizes Apache NiFi and Python to move data securely between environments and to integrate with remote APIs.

You will build Grafana dashboards for visibility, maintain detailed data-flow diagrams in Visio, and produce technical documentation for leadership reviews. A TS/SCI with CI poly is required and on-site work only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field applicable to the position with six years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with the Linux command-line interface
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Python
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant by security indoctrination date
• Strong technical documentation skills and ability to present changes to leadership

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and sustain complex data flows using Apache NiFi
• Develop Python-based solutions for data manipulation and integration
• Retrieve data from remote APIs, transform, and distribute per customer requirements
• Modernize legacy Java implementations with Python-based solutions
• Build and maintain Grafana dashboards for data-flow metrics and health
• Create and maintain detailed data-flow diagrams with Microsoft Visio
