Job summary

The role includes diagnosing complex failures, mentoring engineers, and providing daytime support for operational tickets across software teams. The candidate will design automation strategies, support corporate infrastructure, and perform SQL queries using Windows, Linux, or Unix environments with SQL Server databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/Statistics/Mathematics or related field with 1 year experience or 3 years equivalent.
• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications.
• Proficiency with SQL, PowerShell, Bash, Python, PHP, or Ruby; Windows/Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Build tools that automate and streamline fleet operations.
• Respond to large scale events involving fleets.
• Diagnose and fix critical software and system failures.
• Mentor and train new engineers; provide daytime support for operational tickets.
• Propose, drive and implement automation for efficiency and scalability.
• Partner with software teams to support infrastructure systems and run SQL queries.
