Qualifications

• Designing and developing distributed systems or cloud-based database services.
• Building automation frameworks or AI-powered tools for operational diagnostics, root cause analysis, or incident resolution.
• Developing and maintaining Oracle database solutions including performance tuning, configuration management, and high availability architectures; and
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code to support automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of production services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust and scalable database automation solutions.
• Advise software engineers on database internals.
• Execute and build automation around database benchmarking.
• Code database management tooling in PL/SQL and Java.
• Define specifications for database specific roadmap items.
• Solutions architecture of database systems for key customers.
• Perform on-call duties, including incident response, troubleshooting, and customer support.
• Present database best practices at conferences and workshops.
