Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a System Development Engineer II to help build self-service infrastructure and automation for the Customer Experience Infrastructure team.

You will develop APIs, data pipelines, and integrations with AWS services while collaborating with senior engineers and product managers. The role covers end-to-end software delivery, testing, deployment, and on-call support to ensure reliable production services.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Proficiency in modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.

Responsibilities

• Build self-service tools and platform features for infrastructure discovery, deployment, and management.
• Develop APIs and integrations with AWS services and internal systems for end-to-end automation.
• Write production-grade code from requirements through testing, deployment, and operations.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and cross-functional teams on cohesive customer experiences.
• Support reliability and performance of production services and contribute to runbooks.
