Job summary

CBMC seeks a Systems and Automation Developer to strengthen ministry impact by connecting systems, automating workflows, and delivering reliable data for decision‑making. You will build integrations, streamline processes, guard data integrity, and enable self‑service reporting while collaborating with Operations and technical teams in a faith‑driven nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–2+ years of experience with data systems, integrations, or automation tools.
• Strong understanding of relational data structures and SQL.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, or system integrations.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools (Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or similar).
• Experience with reporting or analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and systems‑thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Systems Integration – design and support integrations across core ministry platforms and APIs.
• Automation & Workflow Design – implement workflow automation and triggers.
• Data Infrastructure & Pipelines – build data pipelines and ensure data integrity.
• Data Access & Reporting Enablement – develop datasets and enable self‑service reporting.
• Continuous Improvement & Documentation – collaborate to improve systems and maintain docs.
