Job Title: Systems Architect SME / Software Developer Analyst
Location: Client site is in Gaithersburg, MD but this job is fully remote
Eligibility: US Citizen with an active NRC Public Trust

Job Description:
-Assist in the planning, analysis, documentation, design and implementation of a major application.
-Support team in analysis, design, Agile development and testing of all required functionality iteratively, while incrementally developing a complete solution.
-Work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision, but also within a collaborative team environment.
-Perform problem analysis.
-Effective communications (verbal and written) are required to interface with customers and team members.

The Systems Architect SME/Software Developer Analyst develops custom solutions in response to business systems requirements of varying complexity. The ideal candidate will participate in the daily scrum and demonstrate practical Agile experience developing solutions in ASP.Net VB/C#, MVS, and other Microsoft technologies using Visual Studio, collaborating at all phases of the systems development life-cycle (SDLC) with a focus on the application design, development, implementation and maintenance phases. The selected candidate will cross over into several areas of development including Microsoft SQL database design, data retrieval and Crystal reports. At times will be required to perform root cause analysis and solutions development in response to production defects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-Solid experience in ASP.Net VB, MVC, SQL 2012 development, Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and above, Development with Web forms in a three-tiered architecture. Minimum of 7 years .Net experience.
-Experience writing and debugging JavaScript and AJAX in Web applications.
-Well versed in current technologies, and be able to provide guidance and recommendations in support of implementing web applications strategies.
-Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development (Scrum, Sprint, User Stories, Retrospectives, etc.) and Cloud-based environment.
-BS degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience or masters with 8 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.
-Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
-Excellent communications, organizational, and reporting skills.
-Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Desired Skills:
-Versed in BitBucket or GitHub to provide backlog-to-deployment traceability.
-Experience utilizing Jira to manage and deliver Agile development projects.
-Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
-Scrum Master certified or other Agile certifications
-Crystal Reports Development
-Experience developing in ASP .NET Core
-Experience developing in Microsoft Power Platform
