Job summary

i-Link Solutions seeks a Systems Architect Level-3 to design and secure cloud and on-prem systems for critical NY state projects. You will craft service-oriented architectures across PaaS/IaaS/SaaS using IBM DataPower and WSO2 platforms, implementing strong identity, access, and data protection controls.

The role requires extensive experience in virtualization, cloud infrastructure, backups, and multi-region deployments.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent.
• 6+ years in large-scale technical projects with deliverables and documentation.
• 6+ years in designing infrastructure solutions (virtualization, Storage, Middleware, Cloud IaC).
• 6+ years managing virtualization (Vmware, Openshift, AWS EC2/VPC).
• 6+ years backing up data with Veeam and AWS Backup Solutions.
• 6+ years high-availability infra, load balancers, multi-region replication.
• 6+ years monitoring/logging across multi-region data centers and cloud.
• 6+ years orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design service-oriented architectures, PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS using IBM DataPower and WSO2 products.
• Implement secure applications with SAML, OAuth, MFA, and transport/message security.
• Ensure data security through encryption/decryption, keys management, and security protocols.
• Support and document infrastructure modernization across multi-region deployments.
• Collaborate with teams to assure delivery scope and project documentation.

Description

The contractor will support systems for allowing and securing access to COVID-19 applications and data via Health Commerce System (HCS). The Systems Architect will design service-oriented architecture, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service, and software as a service using IBM DataPower, WSO2 API Manager, WSO2 Identity Manager. The Systems Architect will design secure applications using security AP Is, transport and message layer security, encryption and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML, OAuth, and multi-factor authentication. OFR approved Other Infectious Disease expansion.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 1. This position requires at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Candidate Proposal Response.
• 2. 6 years' experience development in medium to large-scale technical projects and assuring deliverables and project scope are met and well documented.
• 3. 6 years' experience in designing infrastructure solutions like virtualization, Storage, Middleware, Cloud Infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code
• 4. 6 years' experience in managing virtualization like Vmware, Openshift Virtualization, AWS EC2, AWS VPC
• 5. 6 years' experience managing backups using Veeam, Veeam Kasten, AWS Backup Solutions
• 6. 6 years' experience with managing high available infrastructure, use of load balancers, managing multi region data replication.
• 7. 6 years' experience in performing monitoring and logging functions across multi region data centers and cloud solution
• 8. 6 years' experience with Orchestration and infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible.
