Akaasa Technologies seeks a Systems Architect to support Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) in Albany, NY. The role focuses on major architecture initiatives, enterprise licensing, and governance across disparate platforms. Hybrid work is available with three days on site.

The candidate should bring 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, data systems, and SOA design, plus a Bachelor's in IT/CS. You will collaborate with NYS ITS and vendors to advance enterprise roadmaps.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure capacity planning, performance management, and related functions.
• 7+ years of experience with systems integrations involving ESB/iPaaS.
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle DB and other databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Db2).
• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing service-oriented architectures.
• 7+ years reviewing projects for architectural impact and providing architecture assurance.
• 7+ years designing, developing, implementing and supporting enterprise applications.
• 7+ years Enterprise Architecture including licensing, procurements, RFIs/RFPs, budgets.

Project Description

The position is to support Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES). The Systems Architect position will support major architecture initiatives of New York State Medicaid Enterprise.

Day-to-Day Tasks

1. 1. Create technical specifications;
2. 2. Reviewing and evaluating technical specification;
3. 3. Review and evaluate procurements from both a technical, financial perspective
4. 4. Support and take responsibility for enterprise licensing, budget and forecasting efforts.
5. 5. Ensuring compliance with business objectives and requirements;
6. 6. Ensures functionality is integrated with other applications.
7. 7. Create Logical and Physical Technology Models
8. 8. Work with Vendor and NYS ITS to support existing infrastructure
9. 9. Support Enterprise Architecture review and governance.
10. 10. Participate in Data Governance Meetings

12. 12. Review new and existing data designs including database, SQL and ETL applications to ensure correctness

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in each skill below

1. 84 months experience in infrastructure Capacity Planning, Performance Management and related functions.
2. 84 months of experience in systems integrations involving multiple disparate mid-tier platforms like Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) or an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) like MuleSoft ,Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, Cloud Platforms, API Management Platforms
3. 84 months of experience with data systems utilizing Oracle and other leading database platforms like MySQL, PostgreSQL (Postgres) or IBM Db2
4. 84 months of experience designing and implementing Service Oriented systems.
5. 84 Months reviewing new projects for overall architectural impact and providing Architecture Assurance.
6. 84 months of experience designing, developing, implementing and supporting enterprise applications.
7. 84 Months of Enterprise Architecture Experience including managing enterprise solutions, software license agreements, procurements, RFIs, RFPs, write proposals and overall enterprise budgets
8. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or similar field of study. (Submit Copies)
9. 84 months of experience in research and evaluation of software / hardware products and industry trends to assist in Enterprise Portfolio Assessment and development of the Enterprise Roadmap.
