Systems & Automations Manager - Remote (Colombia) full time

This is a fully 100% remote job, and you'll be working on a U.S. time zone schedule.

This position will support our portfolio of internal companies that span different industries (including mortgage compliance to HR/bookkeeping), using different SaaS tools, and analyzing workflows to recommend enhancements for efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

The Systems & Automation Manager will lead a small systems team focused on optimizing SaaS solutions to their fullest potential. This role includes:

1. Oversee the systems team; provide training, mentorship, code review, and support.

2. Analyze business processes and leverage tools such as Gemini/ChatGPT, HubSpot, ClickUp, and Zapier to build robust automations, integrations, and workflows that improve productivity and operational efficiency.

3. Drive innovation by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into our processes to enhance efficiency, improve decision-making, and create scalable solutions. This includes identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools, developing automation workflows, and ensuring seamless adoption across teams.

4. Provides technical support and guidance to resolve users’ internal system issues.

5. Act as a liaison between systems and end users to translate business goals into efficient technical solutions.

6. Stay at the forefront of innovation by researching, evaluating, and recommending new technologies that align with business goals and recommend enhancements to existing systems to drive productivity.

7. Participate in systems work alongside the team, particularly in complex workflows, integrations, and troubleshooting.

8. Manage vendor relationships, including overseeing contracts, leading negotiations, and handling renewals to ensure favorable terms, compliance, and alignment with company objectives.

9. Demonstrate strengths including process analysis, technical troubleshooting, project leadership and communication skills.

10. Work with a commitment to precision and a strong attention to detail.

11. Complete day-to-day activities with a customer service approach.

12. Other duties as assigned.

What will make you successful in this role (skills):

5+ years of solid working experience as a developer, systems manager, applications manager, systems analyst, or other related position.

3+ years of experience leading a systems team.

Proficiency in SaaS tools, Hubspot, ClickUp and Zapier, preferred.

Strong understanding of AI tools and embedding them into operational tasks.

Strong understanding of Scrum software development principles. The ability to read, debug, and write code, a plus.

Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects.

Ability to transform specific business goals related to growth and efficiency improvements into new system designs.

Ability to analyze workflows and recommend enhancements to maximize efficiency.

Bachelor’s/College degree holder and/or a certification in computer programming/related field.

Strong business intelligence methodologies for workflow, productivity, and reliability improvements.

Ability to understand and execute complex instructions.

High professionalism and integrity.

Keen attention to detail.

Excellent organizational skills and deadline adherence.

Self-motivated, positive, resourceful, and dependable.
