Job summary

Anza Mortgage Insurance Company seeks a technically curious support analyst to take ownership of production issues, investigate from logs and dashboards, and write clear responses. You’ll develop runbooks and help engineers address recurring problems.

The role blends incident response, data analysis, and clear customer communication. As you grow, you’ll document learnings, produce runbooks, and participate in post-incident reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical support or similar role with problem diagnosis.
• Ability to write SQL SELECT queries with joins and date filters.
• Comfort reading logs and error messages to distinguish signal from noise.
• Ability to explain technical problems to non-technical audiences clearly.
• A methodical, evidence-led work style with careful documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take first response on production issues and own tickets through closure.
• Triaged issues by impact and urgency, escalate with evidence.
• Reproduce issues, check logs/dashboards, and use runbooks to determine root cause.
• Write customer-facing responses and keep stakeholders updated.
• Raise clean defect reports with steps, environment, IDs, and logs.
