Job summary

CharterCARE Health of Rhode Island, LLC seeks a Technician to handle systems installation, maintenance, support and application development. The role includes managing small projects within departments and coordinating changes to ensure smooth system functionality in a hospital setting.

You will train, support, and document user needs, while meeting management reporting requirements for patients, physicians, employees, and other stakeholders.

Technicians Full Time regular (64-80 hrs) , 1st Shift , 8:00 am -5:00 pm

Summary

Systems installation, maintenance, support and application development. Manage smaller projects within single departments. Coordinate and communicate changes with system functionality within a department. Coordinate and communicate the integration of clinical and financial systems as part of the analytical support team in conjunction with a Systems Analyst II, III or the Director.

Provide training, support and documentation for users. Meet the reporting needs of management and other hospital staff with regards to patient, physician, employee, vendor, or other relevant information.

Work with external organizations such as software vendors or other organizations to communicate needs and/or resolve issues.

Experience

Minimum of 0-3 years hospital experience in hospital information systems including a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in systems analysis and project management; excellent oral and written communication skills; relevant technical skills; problem-solving skills; self-motivated; ability to work independently and in teams. Experienced in systems analysis methodologies and techniques; fourth generation application development tools and report writing experience; experienced in project management tools and methodologies; familiarity with current information and telecommunications technology. Must demonstrate appropriate time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines

Education

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
