Texas Children's in Houston seeks a Systems Analyst (Endpoint Engineering) to translate users' needs into detailed requirement specifications and support system installation throughout the implementation cycle.

The role requires four years of information systems experience (or equivalent via degrees) and may substitute with a Bachelor's or Master's degree. You will analyze, document, and coordinate upgrades for clinical/business processes.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 4 years' experience in information systems required.
• Bachelor’s degree will substitute four years of work experience.
• Master’s degree will substitute for two years of work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Translates users’ needs into detailed requirement specifications
• Assists users in determining specific requirements to increase system effectiveness
• Analyze and evaluate existing and /or proposed systems
• Document the "as is" the "to be" clinical/business processes
• Assists in vendor analysis and selection
• Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations
• Supports the system installation through the implementation cycle
• Performs configuration analysis for system design associated with small and less complex projects
• Analyzes system problems and modifications
• Coordinates implementation and upgrades of systems

In this position, you will develop clinical/business solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within Integrated Delivery System. Skills & Requirements

• Up to one (1) year of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for the one (1) year of required information systems experience on a month-to-month basis
