Texas Children’s is seeking a Systems Analyst (Application Engineering) to develop clinical and business solutions by analyzing processes and data flows. You will translate user needs into detailed requirements and support system implementations across the delivery workflow.

The position requires strong IS experience, with HS diploma and/or college substitutions, and the ability to assess current and proposed systems with a focus on efficiency and reliability. This is an on-site role in Houston.

Formación

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Requires 4 years' experience in information systems.
• Bachelor’s degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience.
• Master’s degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience.
• Up to one (1) year of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for the one (1) year of required information systems experience on a month-to-month basis.

Responsabilidades

• Assist users in determining specific requirements to increase system effectiveness.
• Analyze and evaluate existing and/or proposed systems.
• Document the “as is” and “to be” clinical/business processes.
• Assist in vendor analysis and selection.
• Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using vendor analysis/evaluations.
• Support the system installation through the implementation cycle.
• Perform configuration analysis for system design on small/less complex projects.
• Analyze system problems and modifications.
• Coordinate implementation and upgrades of systems.

Educación

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree substitution for four years of work experience

Master’s degree substitution for two years of work experience

Clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience substitution for IS experience (month-to-month)
