Hybrid schedule: in-office 3 days per week at 1000 Walnut St, Kansas City, MO. Requires a Bachelor’s in finance or accounting, 3+ years in financial services, 2+ years systems experience; FIS InTrader a plus; Series 52/7/63/SIE desired or obtainable.

Compensation Range Annual Salary: $82,000.00 - $109,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to provide critical support on a wide variety of applications and to provide essential data analysis and reports that are crucial to making smart business decisions.

Essential Functions

• Serve as a business and systems resource, implementing technical solutions to business needs
• Utilize systems to generate reports and develop and produce requested reports
• Monitor systems and databases for functionality and availability to users, troubleshoot, and respond to user inquiries
• Research, analyze, assist with the design, testing, and implementation of applications, sometimes working in cooperation with internal departments and vendors
• Collect data and update systems information via manual input or upload
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
• Document business and systems requirements, define scope and objectives, translate requirements into specifications, and formulate systems to reflect business unit strategies
• Provide audit support, consultation, and recommendations to business teams in resolving technical problems
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide reliable analysis used in decision-making around funding stability, pricing, and balance sheet optimization
• Contribute insights that influence enterprise-level funding and collateral strategy beyond day-to-day system support
• Provide support to the Public Entity Collateralization team
• Act as liaison between Corporate Finance, product, operations, and deposit partners to ensure liquidity and collateral strategies are executable

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Intermediate computer skills, specifically with SQL, SharePoint, Excel, and Business Objects
• Knowledge of finance and fixed income accounting commonly used concepts and best practices
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience required 3+ years financial services experience required 2+ years systems experience required FIS InTrader experience a plus Series 52, 7, 63, and SIE desired, or able to obtain within specified time frame if requested.

Hybrid Schedule: In office 3 days per week

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $82,000 to $109,000 annually.
