Job summary

The Elevance Health Companies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Analyst Advisor to join our Iselin, NJ office in a hybrid role (3–4 days on-site).

You will define system requirements, test features, and bridge business needs with technical solutions, while partnering with architecture and infrastructure teams to ensure SLAs are met. Ideal candidates have a IT-related bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of IT experience, and experience with AWS, SQL, and data management in the health insurance domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Six (6) years of experience in IT or related field.
• Experience in the health insurance industry.
• Experience with AWS or cloud-based solutions.
• Database experience including reading/writing SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with master data management technologies and large-scale data integration.

• Serve as the link between technical and business views, ensuring technical solutions meet business needs.

• Collaborate with the IT learning organization to mentor, assist in training initiatives, and estimate application functionality enhancements.
• Proactively work with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.
• Develop use cases.

Location: 111 S Wood Ave, Ste 220, Iselin, NJ 08830. Must be in office 3-4 days per week. Hybrid work schedule.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Define functional, usability, reliability, performance and supporting requirements of a system.
• Create and perform feature testing and determine environmental needs.
• Serve as the link between technical and business views, ensuring technical solutions meet business needs.
• Partner with business, architecture, and infrastructure stakeholders and oversee all service levels to assure business area satisfaction.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the tools utilized.
• Collaborate with the IT learning organization to mentor, assist in training initiatives, and estimate application functionality enhancements.
• Proactively work with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.
• Develop use cases.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Six (6) years of experience in any occupation with IT or related experience.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in the health insurance industry.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or cloud‑based application solutions.
• Database experience, including reading and writing basic SQL queries and data modeling.
• Experience collaborating with business owners, documenting requirements, and building test cases for enterprise large‑scale IT projects.
• Experience with master data management technologies and concepts.
• Experience with large‑scale data integration and related tools such as Informatica.
• Experience with architectural and design documents.
• Experience translating business requirements to technical requirements or designing documents while partnering with development leads.
