Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years of related experience required.
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate, and triage technical issues across teams.
  • Ability to conduct test risk and system impact analyses.
  • Ability to identify, document, and track defects thoroughly.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
  • CBAP or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience with Data Studio is ideal.
  • Experience in software testing, creation, and implementation.
  • Ability to write SQL to support testing and back-end database validation.
  • DOJ Minimal Background Investigation Level 5 requirements with fingerprints prior to start; EQIP JPAS transfers acceptable; Public Trust or DoD clearance background helpful.
  • US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve routine and advanced issues in assigned functional areas.
  • Gather, assess, and evaluate client application requirements.
  • Perform needs assessments and requirements definitions.
  • Analyze, design, implement, and maintain client solutions and environments.
  • Contribute to larger projects under supervision, including data development, analysis, documentation, and client interaction.
  • Develop depth in a specialization such as solution design or architecture.
  • Coordinate work with developers, testers, operations, engineers, and clients.
  • Author technical documentation, including requirements and presentations, and conduct demonstrations.
  • Support clients with solution design, customization, delivery, training, and technical presentations.
  • Recommend components for basic system integrations.
  • Write specifications for application or system enhancements.
  • Recommend database design changes to support solutions.
  • Execute SQL queries to troubleshoot and analyze data issues.

Our client seeks a Systems Analyst to support a federal program in Washington, DC. The role requires strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, technical requirements gathering, and change management. The analyst will assess and translate business needs into system recommendations, support enhancements to existing applications, and coordinate across teams to deliver reliable solutions. The position emphasizes SQL proficiency, documentation, customer service, and collaborative problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $35.00 to $40.00/hr. w2

  • Must meet DOJ Minimal Background Investigation (MBI) Level 5 requirements with fingerprints prior to start. EQIP JPAS transfers acceptable. Public Trust or DoD clearance background helpful.
