Job summary

Boone Power is seeking a Systems Analyst to design and deliver custom solutions that streamline staff workflows and visibility into business processes. This role supports multiple projects, integrates third-party systems, and provides technical support to the organization.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Director of Information Services Technology and other teams, applying SQL expertise, full-stack development, and effective communication with non-technical users.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 1 year of experience, or alternativ 2 or more paths with matching years of experience.
• Preferred experience with full-stack web development frameworks.
• 3+ years of SQL experience with traditional RDBMS systems.
• Experience creating reports from data stored in RDBMS.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and productivity suites.
• Preferred knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ability to research problems, propose solutions, and communicate with non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs of internal stakeholders and design custom solutions.
• Customize third-party system interfaces and provide technical support.
• Develop reports and analyze data from RDBMS.

The Systems Analyst creates innovative, custom solutions that make it easier for employees to do their work, increase internal visibility to our business processes and improve our ability to serve Boone Power members. Experience (3+ years) writing SQL against traditional RDBMS: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL

Experience developing reports from and analyzing data stored in an RDMBS

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and productivity suites

Preferredknowledge of Linux-based operating systems

Ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently

Ability to conduct research to address problems, recommend solutions, and communicate with project stakeholders.
