Help Keep the Power Flowing. Make Decisions That Matter.
Hoosier Energy is growing our System Operations team and is seeking four System Control Supervisors to join our 24/7 Control Center.
As a member of our System Operations team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the electric grid. You'll monitor and direct the real-time operation of Hoosier Energy's transmission and generation system, coordinate with Member Systems, interconnected utilities, Reliability Coordinators, and Independent System Operators (ISOs), and make operational decisions that directly impact electric reliability for the communities we serve.
Working in a fast-paced control center environment, you'll use advanced Energy Management System (EMS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) technology to monitor system conditions, direct switching operations, respond to changing grid conditions, and help maintain the integrity of the Bulk Electric System (BES). Every shift presents new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.
If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding career where your expertise helps keep the lights on for communities across Indiana and beyond, we'd love to hear from you even if you think you might not be qualified to hold the position, especially if you are NERC certified, because alternate opportunities that offer a path to a System Control Supervisor may be available for those who do not meet all of the job specifications.
