Job summary

i-Link Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the State of New York Department of Health project. You will review testing requirements, develop and execute test plans and scripts for WMS and MECM changes, define user requirements, and produce documentation to reflect organizational changes.

You will work with SMEs, policy staff, and business owners to ensure clear understanding of requirements and drive system solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience creating reports using BI tools such as Tableau, MS Access, COGNOS or Power BI.
• 5+ years of experience querying/analyzing data using SQL, PL/SQL or Python.
• 18 months of experience creating robust test plans/test cases for web applications.
• 18 months of experience in creating, managing and executing functional and regression test scripts.
• 18 months of experience in performing application testing with documented defects using JSM/JIRA.
• 18 months of experience analyzing business requirements and coordinating with technical/policy teams to identify gaps.
• 12 months of help desk experience including documenting, troubleshooting, and resolving software issues.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Mandatory Qualifications

1. 1 60 months experience creating reports/analyzes using Tableau, MS Access, COGNOS, Power BI or similar tools.
2. 2 60 months of experience querying/analyzing data using PL/SQL, SQL, Python or similar tools
3. 3 18 months of experience in working with business and system stakeholders to create robust test plans/test cases for web applications.
4. 4 18 months of working experience in creating, managing and executing functional and regression test scripts
5. 5 18 months of working experience in performing application testing based on written test scripts, documenting, tracking and communicating defects utilizing JSM/JIRA or similar tool
6. 6 18 months of working experience analyzing business requirements documents and working with technical and policy teams to identify gaps
7. 7 12 months help desk related experience including documenting, trouble shooting, and resolving reported software issues
8. 8 Master's Degree in Computer Science or related majors
