Perrygo Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Systems Aerospace Engineer at Lexington Park, MD to support a Navy customer. The role covers system requirements analysis, design, integration, lifecycle activities, and cross-disciplinary coordination on-site with limited telework potential.

The position offers growth from Junior to Senior levels, with education-based progression, and requires Secret (or interim) clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required for Junior/Journeyman; Master’s for Senior
• Experience: Junior <3 yrs, Journeyman 3–10 yrs, Senior >10 yrs (education/experience drive level)
• Secret clearance required; interim Secret acceptable; Top Secret may be required for some Senior assignments

This role supports a Navy customer in the Pax River / Lexington Park, MD area.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Provide systems engineering support for aerospace projects.

• Support system requirements analysis, design, integration, and life cycle activities.
• Maintain requirements documentation and traceability.
• Support technical assessments, trade studies, and engineering reviews.
• Prepare engineering documentation and coordinate technical inputs across disciplines.

Basic Requirements:

Junior: less than 3 years of experience related to the position’s duties. Journeyman: 3 to 10 years of experience related to the position’s duties. Senior: over 10 years of experience related to the position’s duties. Candidates will be considered at the appropriate level based on qualifying education and experience.

Education Requirements:

Junior and Journeyman: Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Senior: Master’s degree in engineering. Education and experience substitutions are not permitted.

Security Clearance:

Secret clearance required; interim Secret is acceptable (must be a US Citizen). Certain Senior assignments may require Top Secret.

Telework and Travel:

Primarily on-site at contractor or Government facilities. Telework may be available based on assigned duties and company approval. Less than 5% travel.
