Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, and virtualization in a manufacturing context. You will support both traditional IT andOperational Technology, focusing on secure, reliable technology and stakeholder collaboration.

The role covers security hardening, incident resolution, and automation using PowerShell, with exposure to OT devices and MDM platforms. Onsite options available in Neenah, WI or Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Systems Administration or related IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong Active Directory administration experience (Users, Groups, GPOs).
• VMware or other virtualization platform experience.
• Knowledge of Windows endpoint operating systems.
• Understanding of endpoint security hardening and security best practices.
• Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Basic networking knowledge including topology, wireless, and firewalls.
• Experience with backup/restore processes and system maintenance.
• Ability to support vulnerability management and security compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure in VMware environments.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, and GPOs.
• Implement and enforce endpoint security policies and configurations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal users.
• Monitor application performance and perform maintenance.
• Execute backup, restore, and system maintenance procedures.
• Automate routine administrative functions using PowerShell.
• Support vulnerability management and security events.
• Assist deployment and integration of OT and manufacturing equipment.
