Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. on behalf of our client is seeking an early-career System Administrator to support daily operation, maintenance, and administration of enterprise IT systems, applications, and infrastructure in Cleveland, OH.

The role focuses on Windows environments, user access, performance, and security. You will assist with virtualization, cloud technologies, backups, and documentation, and collaborate with IT teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows system administration, including Active Directory, provisioning, permissions, Group Policy, and routine maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of Linux systems, virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with IT service management processes, ticketing systems, backup monitoring, patch management, and incident resolution.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with exposure to scripting tools such as PowerShell or batch scripting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine system administration, maintenance, patching, software installations, and user account management across enterprise environments.
• Support the installation, configuration, testing, and ongoing administration of servers, applications, and related infrastructure components.
• Monitor system health, backups, performance, and capacity, resolving routine issues and escalating complex problems when necessary.
• Implement and maintain security controls, access management, logging, and compliance with organizational security policies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, collaborate with IT teams and vendors, and provide technical support to internal users and stakeholders.
