3M HEALTHCARE is seeking a Systems Administrator to install and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high performance of server systems and related software. The role covers management of server infrastructure, adherence to security practices, and collaboration with IT teams on performance tuning and disaster recovery.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on server experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and expertise with IIS, SQL Server, DNS, and backups.
The Systems Administrator installs and maintains Windows Server and related software, and administers activities for the Windows Server operating system, ensuring high performance of these systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. In lieu of degree, at least five (5) years of equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum three (3) years of direct experience with server support and implementation, including maintaining and supporting operating systems and client‑server based applications. Expertise-level knowledge and experience with operations and procedures including configuring, tuning, monitoring, securing, and managing server software and hardware.
This position is identified as level three (3). It must ensure the security and confidentiality of records and information to prevent substantial harm, embarrassment, inconvenience, or unfairness to any individual on whom information is maintained. The integrity of information must be maintained as outlined in the company Administrative Manual.
Segregation of duties will be used to ensure that errors or irregularities are prevented or detected on a timely basis by employees in the normal course of business. This position must adhere to the segregation of duties guidelines in the Administrative Manual.
Regular (ADA Requirements) – General Office Worker, Sedentary, Campus Travel. Works in an office setting or remotely and routinely travels for work within walking distance of location of primary work assignment.
