Cisco Systems in Seattle is seeking a System Administrator to manage provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and related software and hardware. This role supports a key enterprise environment in the Pacific Northwest.
Responsibilities include system monitoring, backups, security, user management, and troubleshooting across servers, networks, and applications with emphasis on reliability and incident response in a fast-paced setting.
The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that systems hardware, operating systems, software systems, networks, and related procedures adhere to organizational values.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones (desktop and mobile), and multi-function devices (printer/copier/scanner).
