Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Systems Administrator in Annapolis, MD to support, troubleshoot and maintain IT systems across UNIX and Windows environments, including servers, storage and networks. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, escalation handling, and DoD-style information assurance practices.

Ideal candidates hold a TS/SCI with poly, have 10 years of SA experience, and demonstrate proficiency with cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Terraform and Ansible in secure environments.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience as a SA on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level II.
• Experience with Cloud technologies such as cloud environments and related tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Linux security practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for IT systems.
• Manage and troubleshoot UNIX and Windows operating systems and network components.
• Configure and maintain server/storage/network devices and related software.
• Assist design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware.
• Communicate status and provide detailed analyses to management on escalated tickets.
