Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Journeyman System/Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure for a unified solution. You will work with Kubernetes environments, network configurations, and Government platform services to ensure reliable operations across deployment environments.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years of system/network engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of system/network engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent substitution.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.
• Networking protocols and configurations understanding.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
• Monitoring tools experience: Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack.
• Security principles and best practices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support Kubernetes cluster configuration and management.
• Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support integration with Government platform services.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions.
• Assist with security configuration and hardening.
• Support deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues.
• Document infrastructure configurations.
• Support disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Participate in security assessments and remediations.
