Job summary

D2 Technical Services seeks a Systems Administrator in Springfield, VA, to maintain and improve system functionality on-site. The role requires an active TS/SCI security clearance and involves troubleshooting, deploying software, and supporting virtualized environments.

Responsibilities include managing servers, documenting processes, mentoring staff, and coordinating with customers. A BS in CS and 5–10 years’ related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 5–10 years of directly related systems administration experience.
• Experience with user-facing devices and systems maintenance.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-mission environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage functionality and efficiency of computers across OS environments.
• Maintain server/system security and documentation.
• Set up admin/service accounts and user support.
• Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
• Develop testing strategies and document results.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and on-call support.
