Job summary

D2 Consulting, based in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Systems Administrator to join an elite team supporting GEOINT exploitation systems.

The role requires an Active TS/SCI clearance and on-site work, with responsibility for deploying software, troubleshooting hardware, and maintaining secure systems. The SA will automate deployments, manage VDI endpoints and virtual machines, document issues, and provide training to users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 5–10 years of systems administration experience.
• Experience supporting user-facing devices and systems.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-mission environment.
• Experience with Windows 11 and Office Suite.
• Security clearance: Active TS/SCI required.

Responsibilities

• Manage functionality and efficiency of computers running one or more operating systems.
• Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems.
• Set up administrator and service accounts.
• Maintain system documentation.
• Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
• Make hardware/software purchase recommendations and coordinate installation.
• Develop and monitor computing resource policies.
• May program in an administrative language.
• Develop testing strategies and document results.
• Provide user training and guidance to staff.
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies.
• Participate in special projects.
