Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Systems Administrator to join our Team at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. The role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer networks and providing help desk support to system users.

The position requires a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, Comp TIA Security+ certification, and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II training. Valid driver's license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma augmented by ongoing technical training and/or certification programs.
• Experience with DoD C4ISR solutions is preferred.
• Must possess Comp TIA Security+ Certification and DoD IA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Participates in design, installation and administration of local networks.
• Writes problem reports and assists with root cause analysis and recommendations.
• Installs, upgrades and administers operating systems and applications in multi-user environments (Windows).
• Provides users with network technical support by responding to helpdesk issues.
• Maintains inter-connectivity for network services, authentication, E-mail and Web services.
• Performs other duties as assigned
