Job summary

Red Cat Holdings is seeking a hands-on System Administrator with 3–5 years of experience to maintain secure, stable IT operations across Windows and Linux servers, endpoints, and core applications. You'll handle provisioning, IAM, monitoring, backups, patching, and routine maintenance within established procedures, while contributing to automation and process improvements under guidance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in systems administration or IT support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux in a business environment.
• Experience supporting identity and access management in AD, Entra ID, M365, or LDAP.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switches, routers.
• Strong troubleshooting across servers, endpoints, and connectivity.
• Experience with patching, maintenance, monitoring, backups, and endpoint management.
• Experience working in a ticketing environment and documenting changes.
• Associate’s degree in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Windows and/or Linux systems.
• Manage user access, groups, permissions in identity platforms.
• Review alerts, logs, and tickets; troubleshoot and restore service.
• Execute and verify backups; support restore testing.
• Apply patches and hardening; follow change-control practices.
• Maintain runbooks and documentation; coordinate with vendors as needed.
