Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and maintaining overall IT infrastructure (servers, network devices, storage systems, security components), performing regular system monitoring and analysis to ensure optimal functionality and proactively identify potential issues.
- Help establish and implement robust security protocols, access controls, authentication mechanisms, and encryption methods.
- Implement processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of configuration documentation, facilitating efficient troubleshooting and audits.
- Deliver technical support for new infrastructure projects, collaborating with project teams to implement and integrate systems effectively.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (IT support, security, development) to evaluate and address complex technical challenges, ensuring a cohesive IT environment.
- Implement system backup and recovery processes supporting disaster recovery and incident response strategies.
- Assess and evaluate current enterprise systems, identify improvement opportunities, and propose process optimizations to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability.
- Coach junior‑level system administrators, providing mentorship and guidance on best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in a technical role involving project management focused on delivering solutions that support organizational goals.
- Ability to address complex challenges and develop effective solutions in collaboration with internal experts and external stakeholders.
- Clear and detailed communication skills, including gathering functional requirements and preparing comprehensive reports.
- Capability to lead small teams or independently manage projects, demonstrating high levels of autonomy and subject‑matter expertise.
- University degree or equivalent experience required, with strong practical knowledge of advanced theories and principles relevant to the field.
