Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to be the on-site presence supporting industrial infrastructure in manufacturing and distribution plants. You will identify root causes, develop automation scripts, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
The role requires 4+ years of experience in enterprise IT, strong knowledge of Windows and UNIX/Linux environments, and ability to lead small projects while maintaining system health and security.

As a systems administrator senior, you will be the onsite presence of a larger team focused on supporting industrial infrastructure technology in manufacturing/distribution plants. On an ongoing basis this position provides support to a wide variety of technology. You will identify root causes of operational issues for new or existing technology solutions to resolve them. You will also help develop tools and scripts to facilitate maintenance and administration. You will also be responsible for execution of small to medium-scale projects supported by Starbucks Technology teams, under the direction of the manager. You will be expected to guide Partners at the facility for to the appropriate support venue for their technology issues and will work with other technology teams/vendors to resolve issues.
This role requires technical proficiency and working knowledge of enterprise-scale systems and cloud-based systems.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
