Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator II to support our government customer at Ellsworth AFB, Rapid City, SD. The role involves configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Windows desktops and servers, with a focus on DoD IA standards and security requirements.

The candidate will work under supervision, perform on-site duties, and rotate shifts in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Two to four (2-4) years’ information technology and Windows OS experience in the field.
• Demonstrated system or network administration skills for workstations, information systems and networks.
• Understand network topology, standards, and protocols.
• Hands-on experience administering Windows 11 and Windows Server 2016/2019.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting of desktops, servers, and networks.
• Participate in installation and administration of local systems using multiple protocols/tools.
• Write detailed problem reports and contribute to root cause analysis and recommendations.
• Install, upgrade and administer OS and application software in a multi-user Windows environment.
• Provide IT help desk support and user training.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
