Job summary

Trace3, located in Huntsville, AL, seeks a System Administrator II with solid VMware and Windows server experience. You will design and manage virtualized infrastructure, AD services, and security controls in a secure, on-site environment.

The role requires Top Secret clearance and offers strong compensation. Candidates should have 3–5 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and knowledge of RMF/NIST requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years managing virtual/physical servers and LAN/SAN environments.
• Experience designing and managing VMware clusters and AD/DNS/DHCP.
• Strong communication, analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage VMware clusters including vCenter and Horizon.
• Maintain AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and LDAP with least privilege.
• Ensure security controls align with NIST RMF and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot by reviewing logs; respond to vulnerabilities with scanners.
