Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance.
• Basic knowledge of the design, development and application of technology and systems to meet business needs.
• Must be able to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner, both in writing and verbally.
• Customer service focus and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to automate system or application configuration with various configuration management tools, or scripting methods.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Active Directory Services, Microsoft Server OS administration to include Desktop OS integration into Active Directory.
• Knowledge and experience with virtualized systems.
• Experience administering complex server infrastructure.
• Basic knowledge of system security requirements and backup and recovery needs.
• Requires general knowledge of networking, cabling, and hardware components.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and process incoming support requests for service.
• Manage and deploy end user devices and maintain inventory.
• Assist with monitoring and configuring centralized servers for security and stability.
• Implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with teams to support departmental projects.
• Assist with security controls to prevent unauthorized access, including firewall management.
