Job summary

Texas A&M University’s IT Enterprise Operations is seeking Systems Administrator II/III to support the College Station campus. You will maintain enterprise systems, storage, and virtualization, while driving automation initiatives and collaborating with teams to improve services.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3–5 years of systems administration experience and proven skills in Python development, VMware, VDI, and backups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of systems administration experience for Level II.
• 5 years of systems administration experience for Level III.
• Experience with Python development, storage, VMware, VDI, backups, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer enterprise IT systems and storage.
• Collaborate with teams to implement improvements and automation.
• Ensure security, reliability, and compliance of critical infrastructure.
• Occasional after-hours support as needed to maintain operations.
