Darigold, Inc. is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT Operations team in Boise. You will manage server hardware, storage, virtualization, and domain services to ensure uptime and security.

The role emphasizes reliable execution, adherence to standards, and collaboration in a security‑critical environment. We require 5+ years of uptime‑critical experience, strong automation with PowerShell, and knowledge of backup/recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven System Administrator experience in uptime‑critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of Dell hardware, storage, and APC UPS systems.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/SCVMM) and Windows Domain Services.
• Familiarity with backup/recovery solutions and network basics.
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (MCSE, CCNA, Dell EMC, Pure Storage) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Dell hardware, storage, and UPS systems for optimal uptime.
• Manage Hyper‑V/VMware virtualization, clustering, and resource allocation.
• Administer Windows Domain Services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange Hybrid).
• Implement and oversee backup and recovery solutions.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Plan patches, upgrades, and capacity expansions.
• Document configurations and generate regular status reports.
• Collaborate with security, networks, and vendors; participate in incidents and remediation.
• Validate changes against standards; provide clear escalation when needed.
• Travel up to 25% for regional deployments or support.
