Job summary

Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) is seeking an experienced Senior IT Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain the company’s server infrastructure. You will manage Linux and Windows servers, virtualization, and network services to ensure high availability and security.

This role requires 8+ years in enterprise IT, strong scripting, automation, and collaboration with development teams. Onsite work in Springfield, MO with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to optimize cost

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computing or CIS.
8+ years of hands-on Linux/Windows server administration in 24x7 environments.
Experience with multiple web hosting components (firewalls, load balancers, web/db servers).
Strong knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Ruby on Rails, MS SQL, MySQL, Perl, Shell, HTTP and network services.
Proficiency with virtualization ( VMware ) and cloud environments; scripting and automation experience.
Ability to manage projects and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operation of DMP servers and related hardware/software.
Build, maintain and scale development, testing and production environments with 24/7 availability.
Provide technical direction for server design, database setup, and deployment.
Maintain security, backups, disaster recovery readiness, and licensing.
Document issues and resolutions; coordinate with IT and Web Services teams.
Manage incidents, changes and vendor relationships; optimize IT expenditures.
