Job summary

Crest Operations seeks an IT Systems Administrator to own reliability, security, and continuous improvement of a hybrid IT environment. You will administer core infrastructure, solve complex problems, automate repetitive tasks, and maintain documentation and controls required for stable operations.

This role favors systems experts who work independently, move quickly, and base technical decisions on logic, evidence, and defined standards.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of systems-administration experience in a Windows enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, and Entra.
• Experience with VMware or Azure-based virtual infrastructure.
• Experience managing endpoints through Intune or Workspace ONE.
• PowerShell scripting or comparable automation experience.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues and make sound technical decisions independently.
• Strong documentation practices and attention to configuration accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of Crest Operations' hybrid IT environment.
• Administer core infrastructure and maintain documentation and controls for stable operations.
• Automate repetitive work using PowerShell and APIs to improve reliability.
• Monitor system health, investigate alerts, and resolve root causes.
• Manage tickets, changes, and service commitments in line with ITIL practices.
